Texas Orchestra Directors Association (TODA) is founded for the purposes of providing educational opportunities for its members and for all other purposes as recommended by its member board of directors. This includes the Annual Convention and New Music Reading Clinic, the TODA Web site, and a quarterly member newsletter, TODA News.

The Texas Orchestra Directors Association (TODA) is a community and network of orchestra directors from all over the state of Texas and beyond.

CPE provider - TODA is approved by the State Board for Education Certification as a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Provider.

Since TODA is a professional society, your dues are deductible for tax purposes as a business expense.  They are not deductible as a charitable contribution.

Membership Categories:
TODA Active Membership ($50/year): Any person who is actively engaged in the teaching, directing, or supervising or orchestral music in Texas, or who desires to participate in the activities of this association, and who pays the prescribed dues, may be admitted to active membership.

TODA Student Membership ($25/year): must be enrolled as a full-time student (12+ hours) in a music program at an accredited junior college, college, or university, who desires to partake of or enhance the purposes of the TODA and who pays the prescribed dues

TODA Retired Membership ($25/year): any person retired from an educational, community or church orchestral organization and who pays the prescribed dues.

TODA Sustaining Membership ($60/year): Any institution of faith or learning, any commercial concern whose products pertain to orchestral music activities, shall become a Sustaining Member of the TODA upon payment of the prescribed dues.

Privileges of voting and serving as an officer are accorded to TODA Active Members only.
